    Objective

Through in vitro studies,it explored whether Supplemented Buyang Huanwu Decoction(加味补阳还五汤,SBHD)could promote adipose stem cells(ADSCs)in greater omentum to paracrinehepatocyte growth factor(HGF)and whether this effect could inhibit the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)of peritonealmesothelial cells(PMC)in order to initially clarify the pharmacological mechanism and target of this prescription in preventing and treating postoperative abdominal adhesion(PAA).

    Methods

Experiment 1 clarified whether the inhibitory effect of SBHD on the EMT of PMCwas a directeffectof the formula on PMC or an indirect effect by regulating the paracrine secretion of ADSCs in the greater omentum. After culturing ADSCs with SBHD,conditional culture media(hereinafter referred to as“Chinese medicine culture media”)were prepared to intervene in the PMC of EMTmodels, and the expression levels of EMT related proteins E-cadherin(E-Cad)andα-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA)were detected by Western Blot. Experiment 2 clarified whether the inhibitory effectof SBHD on EMT of PMC was related to the secretion of HGF by ADSCs in the greater omentum. The intervention of PMC used three types ofmedia:low HGF expressing ADSCs conditioned medium(hereinafter referred to as “low HGFmedium”),normal ADSCs conditioned medium(hereinafter referred to as“normal medium”)and traditional Chinese medicine culture medium and the following indicators were detected.(1)ELISA was used to detect the content of HGF in the three media before and after intervention in PMC.(2)Western Blot,qPCR and IFmethods were used to detect the expression levels of EMT related proteins in each group of PMCs after intervention, and scratch assay was used to detect the migration ability of PMCs in each group.

    Results

Experiment 1:Effect of SBHD and traditional Chinese medicine culture medium on EMT related indicators:Compared with the model group, the SBHD group up-regulated the protein expression of E-Cad(P<0.05)and down-regulated the protein expression of α-SMA(P<0.05). The traditional Chinese medicine culture medium group significantly up-regulated the protein expression of E-Cad(P<0.01)and significantly down-regulated the protein expression of α-SMA(P<0.01). Compared with the SBHD group, the traditional Chinese medicine culture medium group up-regulated the protein expression of E-Cad(P<0.05)and significantly downregulated the protein expression of α-SMA(P<0.01). Experiment 2:(1)Comparison of HGF contents in three different culture media before and after acting on PMC:Before acting on PMC,compared with the normal medium, the content in low HGF medium was significantly reduced(P<0.01),while the content in traditional Chinese medicine culture medium was significantly increased(P<0.01). After acting on PMC,the content of each culture medium group significantly decreased.(2)Expression of EMT-related proteins:Based on the results of Western Blot,qPCR and IF,compared with the model group, all culture medium groups were able to increase E-Cad expression(P<0.05 or P<0.01)and decrease the expressions of α-SMA and vimentin(VIM)(P<0.05 or P<0.01). All culture medium groups were able to inhibit the EMT of PMC,with the order of effect being Chinese medicine culture medium group>normal medium group>low HGF medium group.(3)Changes in cellmigration ability of EMT:After intervention for 24 h and 48 h,the healing rate of each group was significantly decreased compared with that of the model group(P<0.01). Each group of culturemedia can reduce the Rmigration ability of the EMT model, with the order of effect being Chinese medicine culture medium group>normal medium group>low HGF medium group.(4)Correlation analysis of EMT-related protein expression and HGF content:The expression level of E-Cad protein was positively correlated with the content of HGF(P<0.05). The protein expressions of α-SMA and VIM were negatively correlated with the content of HGF(P<0.05 or P<0.01).

    Conclusion

The therapeutic effect of SBHD in inhibiting the EMT of PMC and preventing PAA may be multi-target,with both direct effects on PMC and indirect effects by enhancing the paracrine secretion of HGF by ADSCs in the greateromentum, with the latter beingmore important.

Acupuncture syncope(commonly know as needle fainting),long considered an adverse event to be prevented, has been found to result in rapid recovery for almost all patients with appropriate management. Some patients even experience“significant”therapeutic effects after fainting. Though the mechanism of acupuncture syncope and its potential benefits have not been thoroughly investigated, this article, based on reviews of extensive literature on acupuncture syncope(case reports, surveys, and systematic reviews)and recent research on vasovagal syncope, supports the notion that acupuncture syncope is not harmful. It raises a novel point that acupuncture syncope is actually a form of vasovagal syncope rather than shock. The pathophysiological basis of acupuncture syncope includes patientsusceptibility to syncope, arterial baroreflex dysfunction or instability, and vasovagal responses triggered by psychological stress, postural stress, and particularly acupuncture(somatic nerve stimulation). Based on its neurological mechanism, acupuncture syncope can be classified into three types. Type Ⅰ(psychological stress type)occurs immediately before and after the needle is inserted. Type Ⅱ(sympathetic triggering type)is further divided into progressive sympathetic activation type(Type Ⅱ a)and inhibitory type(Type Ⅱ b). The sympathetic excitability of this type is initially high, which further increases under needle stimulation before suddenly or gradually decreasing, leading to fainting. Type Ⅲ(vagus-triggered type)is induced by directly stimulating vagalafferentatsome special parts of the body (e.g.,the auricular region). The article proposes that the significant therapeutic effects experienced by some fainting patients(mainly Types Ⅱ and Ⅲ)are related to the strong stimulation of acupuncture and the fainting itself, which strongly activate the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis, cholinergic vagal anti-inflammation pathways, and reset disease homeostasis. For patients susceptible to syncope, clinicians should mitigate psychological stress and administer light acupuncture stimulation in the supine position when needed. When pre-syncope symptoms occur, preventing falls and should be the first priority. Unless syncope persists, additional needle insertion is unnecessary, though existing needles may be retained for the duration of treatment. For patients who have not responded to previous acupuncture treatments, clinicians might consider intentionally selecting more sensitive acupoints and applying more intensive stimulation at an orthostatic posture to induce syncope. This approach aims to achieve a more effective treatment outcome. In essence, clinical management should consider the trade off between ensuring patient safety and maximizing treatment efficacy.

Breast cancer(BC)is one of the most common malignant tumors among women, and its incidence rate has been ranked the highest among female cancers athome and abroad. Nowadays, although the research on the prevention and treat ment of breast cancer has made great progress, such as surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy, many complications may occur in the process of treatment, which may affect the quality of life of the patients, endanger their physical and mental health and even endanger their lives. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, breast cancer belongs to “breast rock”,which is caused by“the evil excess and the vital Qi decline forming the mass accumulation”,and its treatment means are quite abundant, such as acupuncture and moxibustion,Tuina, plaster and guided therapy, etc. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine has gained great popularity in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer. In recent years, the prevention and treatment of breast cancer by traditional Chinese medicine has received extensive attention from all walks of life, and more and more researches have shown that in the process of breast cancer prevention and treatment, there are many advantages of traditional Chinese medicine, such as reducing the toxic side effects of radiotherapy, lowering patients' resistance to medication, effectively controlling the disease, reducing complications and so on,and so more and more researchers have invested in the study of prevention and treatment of breast cancer with the aim of enriching the prevention and treatment means of breast cancer and reducing the toxic side effects produced by related treatments. Therefore, more and more researchers have devoted themselves to the study of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, with a view to enriching the means of prevention and treatment of breast cancer and reducing the toxic side effects of related treatment. However, the mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in preventing and treating breast cancer has not been fully elucidated yet,and whether its mechanism of action is related to breast cancer-related signaling pathways(e.g.,Wnt,P13K/PTEN/AKT,etc.)still needs to be confirmed by a large number of clinical and experimental studies. Therefore, this paper summarized the current status of domestic and international research on the intervention of traditional Chinese medicine in relevant signaling pathways to prevent and control breast cancer in recent years, and explored the role and mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of breast cancer, with a view to providing a research direction for the succeeding researchers.

Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia, characterized by cognitive decline and memory dysfunction. The orderly operation of cellular signal transduction pathways in the brain maintains the physiological function and activity of nerve cells. The phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase/protein kinase B(PI3K/Akt)signaling pathway is a classical pathway for cell proliferation, differentiation, growth and apoptosis, which can regulate downstream effector molecules involved in the occurrence and development of Alzheimer's disease. Itplays an important role in various aspects such as abnormal protein aggregation, insulin resistance in the brain, neuroinflammation, oxidative stress, apoptosis and atophagy. Based on the current research status at home and abroad, the article reviewed and summarized the recent progress in traditional Chinese medicine treating Alzheimer's disease by regulating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway in recent years in order to provide new ideas for Alzheimer's disease drug treatment and provide reference for further in-depth mechanism research.

IgA nephropathy(IgAN)is the most common primary glomerular disease world wide and a common cause of endstage renal disease. At present,it is difficult to explain the etiology and pathogenesis. With the deepening of research, many scholars have found that intestinal flora dysbiosis and mucosal immune response are closely related to the occurrence and development of this disease. The clinical progression of IgAnephropathy caused and exacerbated by respiratory infections cannot be ignored. This article attempted to summarize and analyze the relationship among lung, intestines and IgAN based on the classic traditional Chinese medicine theory of “interior-exterior relationship between lung and large intestine” combined with modern medical research,in order to consider the possible prevention and treatment mechanisms of drugs applied to IgAN based on the theory of “interior-exterior relationship between lung and large intestine” and provide new directions for the clinical treatment and research of IgAN.

By consulting ancient literature, pharmacopoeia and processing specifications, this paper systematically combed the historical evolution of carbonized Chinese medicine, the historical edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia(hereinafter referred to as Ch. P),the national and provincial Chinese medicine processing specifications, and the collection of Chinese medicine processing experience in various places. It is found that charcoal medicine has a long history of application, and has a significanteffecton hemostasis and gastrointestinal diseases. The application of charcoal medicine in ancient times is mainly animal charcoal medicine, while in modern times it is mostly plant charcoal medicine. It is necessary to explore the clinical application value of animal charcoal medicine. A total of 78 kinds of charcoal drugs were recorded in the Ch. P,the national and provincial Chinese medicine processing specifications, and the processing experience of Chinese medicine in various places. Among them,39 kinds of charcoal drugs were recorded in the Ch. P,42 kinds of charcoal drugs were recorded in the national Chinese medicine processing specifications,24 kinds of charcoal drugs were recorded in the provincial Chinese medicine processing specifications, and 56 kinds of charcoal drugs were recorded in the processing experience of Chinese medicine in various places. Among them,12 kinds of charcoal drugs were only recorded in experience, and have not yetbeen recorded in the Ch. P and processing specifications. In addition,it was found that there was a phenomenon of “one drug with multiple methods” and “local methods” in the collection of the same charcoal drug. Some methods were consistent but there were some differences in the process. Based on this, the excavation and collation of charcoal drugs should be increased, the processing methods of charcoal drugs should be standardized, and more charcoal drugs should be actively promoted into the local and national Chinese medicine processing standards and pharmacopoeia standards. At the same time, the establishment of charcoal drugs processing standards should also be paid attention to,so that charcoal drugs can play a better clinical application value. Carbonized drugs are one of the important characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine processing. This paper systematically summarized the historical evolution, standards and experience of carbonized drugs, which can provide literature reference for further exploring the types of carbonized drugs and expanding their clinical application.

After corona virus disease 2019(COVID-19),there is a widespread hypoxic environment, and accompanied by lung, heart, brain and other systemic complications for a long time, which is consistent with the theory of “long-term disease involving collateral” of traditional Chinese medicine. The heart and brain are high oxygen consuming and energy consuming organs, which can directly or indirectly lead to the progression of chronic heart failure and mild cognitive dysfunction in the hypoxic environment. The subtle network of collaterals is easy to retain evils and “collaterals are connected”. The deficiency of lung Qi after COVID-19 and the lack of Qi and blood substances in the hypoxic environment create the pathogenesis characteristics of “Qi deficiency and collateral stasis”of the “lung collateral-heart collateral-brain collateral” axis. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore chronic heart failure with mild cognitive impairmentafter COVID-19 from the perspective of collateral diseases in traditional Chinese medicine.

Lumbar degenerative disc disease(LDDD)and sarcopenia are common age-related motor system diseases in the elderly, which seriously affect the health of the elderly. The reduction of paravertebral muscle is the manifestation of sarcopenia in the spine, and clinical findings show the paravertebral sarcopenia and LDDD often present comorbidity status, mutual influence and mutual causality. Basic research suggests that the two have similar pathogenesis and pathological mechanisms. LDDD is mostly treated symptomatically in clinical practice, and there is still a lack of effective means to reverse in tervertebral disc degeneration. The common intervention methods for sarcopenia include resistance exercise and nutritional supplementation, but there is a lack of effective therapeutic drugs. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)classifies LDDD as “lumbago” and “spinalgia” and paravertebral sarcopenia as “Wei syndrome” and “consumptive disease”. TCM has a profound understanding of the relationship between the two,and highly summarizes the pathological state of its comorbidity with the theory of “bone and flesh notmatch”. It is believed that the deficiency of spleen and kidney is the common pathogenesis. Tonifying spleen and kidney is the basic treatment method. However, the research on traditional Chinese medicine urgently needs to adopt real-world research to enrich theories and evidence-based medicine research to verify therapeutic effects and basic experimental research to deeply reveal the mechanisms of comorbidities and explain the mechanisms of therapeutic effects, providing new ideas for deepening the relevant theories of traditional Chinese medicine and inventing new drugs.

Nephrotic syndrome(NS)is a common clinical syndrome in kidney diseases, characterized by high levels of proteinuria, hyperlipidemia, edema and hypoproteinemia. Primary nephrotic syndrome(PNS)is more common in children. The unclear pathogenesis of NS,hormone dependence in children, repeated urinary protein, hormone insensitivity and the possibility of some children progressing to end-stage kidney disease are still urgent clinical problems to be solved. Therefore, scientific and standardized individualized treatment plans are crucial for NS patients. In recent years, relevant domestic and foreign institutions have developed a series of guidelines and consensus for NS,clarifying the diagnosis, treatment and other related content. The understanding of the disease continues to deepen, but there are controversies in some aspects. Therefore,it is still necessary to continue to explore more flexible treatment plans and find out the optimal treatment. The article analyzed and compared the relevant guidelines and consensus treatment plans for nephrotic syndrome both domestically and internationally,in order to understand the latest progress in the treatment of NS with traditional Chinese and Western medicine, explore more flexible and practical individualized treatment plans, clarify further research directions and provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment as well as the formulation of related guidelines in the later stage.

Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)is one of the serious complications of diabetes. As a new type of programmed cell death, pyroptosis plays an important role in the development of DKD,which is mediated by the Gasdermin(GSDM)family and is accompanied by the release of a large number of inflammatory factors and chemokines, resulting in a series of inflammatory and immune responses,so regulating pyroptosis is of great significance in the treatment of DKD. Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)can regulate pyroptosis throughmultiple pathways and multiple targets, which has significantadvantages in the treatment of DKD. It has been found that TCM treatment of DKD by pyroptosis pathway is mainly based on TCM compounds, supplemented by TCM monomers. This article focused on the molecular mechanism of pyroptosis, reviewed the relationship between DKD and pyroptosis, and discussed the mechanism of action of TCM to inhibit pyroptosis and alleviate DKD,aiming to exploremore new ways to effectively treat DKD.

    Objective

To study the consistency of the chemical and blood-entry components between Houpo Wenzhong Decoction(厚朴温中汤)and its dispensing granules, and to explore the applicability of the dispensing granules to replace the traditional decoction.

    Methods

Lard and cold vinegar were used to create a ratmodel of deficiency-cold in spleen and stomach, and the drug efficacy was evaluated by biochemical indexes of rats in each administration group with ELISA kit. Ultra performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time of flight tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS)was used to study the chemical components,blood-entry prototypes and metabolites of Houpo Wenzhong Decoction and its dispensing granules. Compositional identification and characterisation were performed based on retention time, precise relative molecular mass, secondary mass spectrometry cleavage fragments and controls. The consistency of the chemical and blood-entry components of Houpo Wenzhong Decoction and its dispensing granules was evaluated by combining PeakView,Maker View and Metabolite Pilot software for pattern recognition.

    Results

A supervised orthogonal partial least squares(OPLS-DA)method with a setting of VIP>2.5 was used to screen the two for 66 differentiated chemical components,14 differentiated blood-entry prototype components and 12 differentiated blood-entry metabolites.

    Conclusion

From the biochemical indexes, there was no significant difference between Houpo Wenzhong Decoction and its dispensing granules. From the chemical constituents, flavonoids and lignans, such as hesperidin and sanguinarine, were largely different. After entering the blood, the difference among some of the constituents was significantly reduced, especially the difference among flavonoids, such as hesperidin and sanguinarine, which seemed to have a“flattening effect”after the components entering the blood.

    Objective

To explore the effects of electroacupuncture therapy on intestinal flora and inflammatory immune function in ischemic stroke model rats.

    Methods

According to random number table method,16 Sprague Dawley(SD)rats were divided into sham operation group, middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)group,MCAO+electroacupuncture group and MCAO+electroacupuncture non-acupoint group. Left MCAO operation was conducted with wire occlusion method to prepare brain ischemia-reperfusion animalmodel. After the operation, the animal model was put into wood shavings and kept warm water to observe the changes. After 2 hours, the wire occlusion was slowly withdrawn, while only the arteries were separated and then sewed up in the sham operation group.24 hours aftermodeling, the MCAO+electroacupuncture group selected Shenting(DU24)and Baihui(DU20)and applied SDZ-V electroacupuncture instrument with density wave(1~20 Hz)once a day,for a total of 7 days. The sham operation group and the MCAO group were given the same feeding and grasping conditions with out any treatment. In the MCAO+electroacupuncture non-acupoint group, the hypocholic non-meridian and non-acupoint pointswere selected, and the electroacupuncture intervention was carried out24 hours aftermodeling for 14 days. The neural function of rats in each group was observed 24 h and 3,7 and 14 days after themodeling, and the change of brain water contentwas detected after the intervention for 14 days. After successfulmodeling, longamethod was used to score the neurological impairment. Morriswatermaze experiment evaluated the spatial learning and memory ability of rats. Western blotanalysiswas performed to detect the growth related proteins of ischemic penumbra neurons in each group. Real-time fluorescence quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction(PCR)was used to detect the changes of intestinal flora in rat stool. The contents of interleukin-1β(IL-1β)and intercellular adhesionmolecule-1(ICAM-1)in serum and brain tissue were detected by double antibody sandwich ABC-enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ABC-ELISA). The correlation between IL-1β,ICAM-1 and intestinal flora was analyzed.

    Results

The neurological function of the rats in each group was evaluated at 24 h and 3,7,14 d aftermodeling. The neurological function deficit score of the rats in the electroacupuncture group was lower than that in the MCAO group at the same period after cerebral ischemia reperfusion, and the acupoint group was significantly lower than that in the non-acupoint group(P<0.01). The improvement of nerve function in electroacupuncture group wasmore significant with the extension of intervention time. Compared with thatof the MCAO group, the escape latency ofMCAO+electroacupuncture group was significantly shortened(P<0.05),and the number of crossing platform in the MCAO+electroacupuncture group was increased(P<0.05). Compared with those of the MCAO group, the expressions of growth associated protein-43(GAP-43)and neurofilament-200(NF-200)increased(P<0.05),and the expressions of repulsive guidancemolecule a(RGMa)decreased(P<0.05)in the electroacupuncture group and non-acupoint group. The water content of brain tissue in electroacupuncture group decreased significantly(P<0.01). Compared with that of the MCAO group, the number of Escherichia coli and enterococcus in feces of the MCAO+electroacupuncture group decreased(P<0.05),while the number of bifidobacterium and lactobacillus increased(P<0.05). The levels of IL-1β and ICAM-1 in peripheral blood and brain tissue of ischemic stroke rats in the electroacupuncture group were decreased(P<0.05). IL-1βand ICAM-1 were negatively correlated with the number of lactobacillus and bifidobacterium, butpositively correlated with the number of Escherichia coliand enterococcus.

    Conclusion

Electroacupuncture can regulate intestinal flora disturbance in ischemic stroke ratmodel, reduce inflammatory response through anti-inflammatory and maintenance of immune tolerancemechanism, and play a role in brain protection.

Huangqi(Astragali Radix)is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine for strengthening and invigorating Qi,and it is one of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in clinic. Huangqi(Astragali Radix)contains a variety of chemical components, including polysaccharides, flavonoids and saponins, which have antiviral,anti-tumor,immune regulation and other pharmacological effects, among which the antiviral effect is prominent. The effect of anti-virus of Huangqi(Astragali Radix)can be achieved in a variety ofways, such as directly killing the virus, blocking the absorption and penetration of the virus into the cell, inhibiting the replication and release of the virus, inhibiting the synthesis and expressions of viral RNA and protein, promoting the development of immune organs, promoting innate immunity, enhancing cellular and humoral immunity and regulating related signaling pathways. The antiviral effectof Huangqi(Astragali Radix)has the characteristics of safety, low toxicity and high efficiency, which isworthy of further development and research. This article summarized the pharmacodynamic material basis and mechanism of Huangqi(Astragali Radix)antiviral effect, and provided theoretical basis for its development, utilization and clinical research of traditional Chinese medicine.

    Objective

To study the acute toxicity and liver and kidney toxicity of raw Zhizi(Gardeniae Fructus)and six water extractswith different processing degrees using zebrafish model and explore the effect of processing degree on Zhizi(Gardeniae Fructus)toxicity.

    Methods

Acute toxicity studieswere carried outon AB series zebrafish with normal development 3 days(3 dpf)after fertilization, and 6 different dose concentrationswere set for raw products(sp)and sixwater extractswith different degrees of preparation(pz1,pz2,pz3,pz4,pz5,pz6). Themortality rate of zebrafish at72 h was statistically calculated. Quantitation-toxicity curveswere created using GraphPad Prism 9.0 software to calculate half lethal concentration(LC50)and 10% lethal concentration(LC10). Liver and kidney injury studies were conducted on gz15Tg/+(AB)liver fluorescent protein transgenic zebrafish with normal development4 days(4 dpf)after fertilization. Three dose concentration groups were set up as low(LC0),medium(LC10)and high(LC20)groups,and the acetaminophen group was setup, with embryonic water as the blank group. After72 h of administration, zebrafish livermorphology and fluorescence area changes were observed, and the activities of alanine aminotransferase(ALT)and aspartate aminotransferase(AST),creatinine(Cr)and urea nitrogen(BUN)were detected.

    Results

The results of acute toxicity experiments showed that the values of LC50 of the raw productand six water extractswith different processing degreeswere 0.042,0.049,0.053,0.064,0.050,0.058 g·L-1 respectively. The values of LC10 were 0.024,0.025,0.033,0.038,0.036,0.036,0.039 g·L-1 respectively. The results of liver and kidney injury showed that compared with those in the blank group, the livermorphological deformation and fluorescence area of zebrafish in the acetaminophen group decreased(P<0.01)and the activities of ALT and AST increased(P<0.01),indicating that acetaminophen was hepatotoxic to zebrafish. The livermorphological changes and fluorescence area of zebrafish in the low, medium and high groups of sp decreased(P<0.01),the activities of ALT and AST increased(P<0.01,P<0.05)and the activities of BUN and Cr rised(P<0.05),indicating the raw product had hepatic and renal toxicity to zebrafish. Livermorphology and fluorescence area of zebrafish decreased in themedium and high dose groups of pz 1,pz 2 and pz 3(P<0.01),the activities of ALT and AST in pz1 group increased(P<0.01),the activities of BUN and Cr elevated(P<0.01,P<0.05),the activity of ALT in the low, medium and high dose groups of pz2 and pz3 rised(P<0.05,P<0.01),and the activities of AST in themedium and high dose groups increased(P<0.05,P<0.01). There were no significant changes of livermorphology or fluorescence area in the low and medium dose groups of pz4,pz5 and pz6,and there were changes in the high dose group(P<0.05). The results showed that the low and medium dose groups of pz4,pz5 and pz6 had no significant effect on the liver of zebrafish, and there was liver damage in the high dose group. ALT and AST were elevated in themedium and high dose groups of pz4(P<0.05,P<0.01). There was no significant effect on the decrease in the activity of ALT of pz5 and pz6 and there was liver injury in the AST high dose group(P<0.01,P<0.05). The activities of BUN and Cr were increased in the high dose groups of pz3 and pz5(P<0.01,P<0.05),and the activitieswere elevated in the high dose group of pz4(P<0.01). The results showed that sp and pz1~pz5 had different degrees of damage to the liver and kidney of zebrafish with different degrees of preparation and different doses. There was no liver or kidney injury neither in the three dose concentration groups of pz6 nor in the ALT,BUN,Cr and AST low and medium dose groups of zebrafish.

    Conclusion

The liver and kidney injury of Zhizi(Gardeniae Fructus)is related to the degree of processing and dosage. But raw and different processing degrees products showed certain liver and kidney damage to varying degrees. Standardizing the processing conditionsmay be an importantmeasure to realize themedication safety of gardenia.

Severe pneumonia is an acute infectious respiratory disease in childhood. Because of the delayed course, rapid progression and difficulty in healing, itseriously affects the physical and mentalhealth of children. Pulmonary rehabilitation is the core part of severe pneumonia management, but there is currently a lack of standardized and unified integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine pulmonary rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment plans for severe childhood pneumonia in China. To further standardize the clinical diagnosis and treatmentof integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the rehabilitation of severe pneumonia in children, this study followed the basic principles of evidence-basedmedicine,adopted the Delphimethod, conducted two rounds of expert survey questionnaires, and combined clinical evaluation to finally form Expert Consensuson the Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment Plan for Severe Pneumonia in Children.
