Introduction to CAST Journals

China Association for Science and Technology Journals (CAST Journals) is a group of science and technology (sci-tech) journals, which is established by Science and Technology Review Publishing House entrusted by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). CAST Journals is committed to collecting sci-tech journals in the CAST system, enhancing the capacity for scaled and clustered development of these journals, and supporting CAST in fulfilling its crucial role in strengthening China’s capabilities as a nation driven by science, technology, and innovation. CAST Journals centers on journals managed or hosted by CAST’s directly affiliated units, national societies, key research institutes, etc. CAST Journals covers multiple fields from natural sciences to engineering technology, categorized by function into academic, think-tank, science communication, and industry-related types, and tiered into flagship publications, core journals, emerging-tier journals, and pilot new journals.

CAST Journals has established a public-benefit and independent digital publishing service platform, providing Chinese and English manuscript submission and review, production and release, domestic and international dissemination and promotion, and safe and compliant data storage services for the joined journals, thereby enhancing the digital publishing capabilities and international influence of sci-tech journals while ensuring the security of their data.
