The classic prescription Xiebai Powder(泻白散)was first recorded in QIAN Yi's Xiao'er Yaozheng Zhijue in the Northern Song Dynasty. It has the effects of clearing lung heat, relieving cough and relieving asthma. The chemical components of the whole prescription are diverse, mainly organic acids, flavonoids and alkaloids. Xiebai Powder has rich pharmacological effects such as eliminating phlegm, relieving cough and asthma,anti-inflammation,antipyretic and analgesic effect and anti-pathogenic microorganisms. Modern clinical treatment is mainly used to treat respiratory diseases such as pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, cough and asthma in children. It can also be used to treat skin diseases, lung cancer, rhinitis, functional constipation in children and other diseases. At the same time, based on the“five principles”of quality markers, the Quality markers(Q-Markers)of Xiebai Powder was predicted and analyzed. The results showed that morin C,mulberroside A,esculin, kaempferol, quercetin, glycyrrhizic acid, glycyrrhetinic acid and liquiritin were the Q-Markers of Xiebai Powder,in order to provide a more comprehensive reference for the establishment of a more scientific quality evaluation standard system of Xiebai Powder.

Henoch-Schonlein purpura is a common vascular inflammatory disease in childhood, which has the characteristics of high incidence, high recurrence rate and difficult course of disease. At present, although western medicine treatment can alleviate the disease, but long-term use has more adverse reactions. The pathogenesis is“heat, deficiency, stasis”,based on syndrome differentiation, with few adverse reactions and high patient compliance. Xijiao Dihuang Decoction(犀角地黄汤),which was first seen in Beiji Qianjin Yaofang, has the effect of clearing away heat and cooling blood, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, which is suitable for this disease. By reviewing the treatment of Henoch-Schonlein purpura from the theory, the clinical application and mechanism of action, this paper aimed to provide reference for further research on the Henoch-Schonlein purpura.

Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)is a common disease of the digestive system, and its incidence ranks first among various gastric diseases, with epigastric fullness, pain, pantothenic acid, nausea and vomiting as the main clinical manifestations, and the occurrence of this disease is related to Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection, dietary and environmental factors, autoimmunity, bile reflux, etc.,among which Hp infection is the most. At present, the treatment of CAGin Western medicine is mainly based on the symptomatic treatment of multi-drug combination, although it can achieve certain effects, but the adverse reactions are obvious, and long-term use is easy to develop drug resistance. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has the advantages of multicomponent,multi-target and multi-channel,and has significant efficacy in the prevention and treatment of CAG. This article summarized and sorted out the theoretical basis and mechanism of Banxia Xingxin Decoction in the treatment of CAGby searching and reviewing the relevant literature of CNKI,Wanfang,PubMed and other databases,in order to provide an important reference and theoretical basis for Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the prevention and treatment of CAG.

The theory of“water entering meridians, and blood being formed”originates from ZHANG Zhongjing's Treatise on Febrile Diseases-Pulse Diagnosis and is a comprehensive summary of the absorption, circulation and transformation of water in traditional Chinese medicine. The process of water entering the meridians and transforming into blood marks the beginning of its circulation and function within the body. During this process, the spleen, meridians and kidney play vital roles. When water fails to enter the meridians to transform into blood,it forms pathological products such as phlegm, retained fluid and dampness. These pathological products, when accumulated in the lower limbs, obstruct normal blood flow and lead to the mutual obstruction of water and blood, resulting in edema. This mechanism bears a resemblance to the pathogenesis of chronic venous edema of the lower limbs, where venous hypertension in the lower limbs causes tissue fluid reflux obstruction and changes in vascular permeability. Based on the theory of“water entering meridians, and blood being formed”,Professor CAO Jianchun, the chief physician at the Peripheral Vascular Department of Dongfang Hospital has proposed that the treatment of chronic venous edema of the lower limbs should start from the physiological and pathological mechanisms of water entering the meridian circulation, adopt the method of promoting blood circulation and urination, reuse Huangqi(Astragali Radix)to invigorate spleen,Zelan(Lycopi Herba)to promote blood circulation,Zexie(Alismatis Rhizoma)to promote urination, and supplement with Guizhi(Cinnamomi Ramulus)and other spleen-invigorating,urination-promoting and blood-activating drugs,to achieve the process of invigorating spleen and tonifying Qi,regulating the absorption of water into the meridians to treat the root cause, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, improving the process of water returning to the meridians and transforming blood between the skin and flesh, promoting urination and reducing swelling, and promoting the excretion of water through the meridians and kidney to the human body for external treatment.
