    This paper takes the text of science popularization policies issued by the government from 2000 to 2021 as the research object. It builds an analysis framework to carry out research and analysis framework from three dimensions:policy tools, policy objectives and policy time. According to the analysis results, some problems in using science popularization policy tools exist, such as unbalanced use structure, lack of scientific combination, balanced target and stability. We can focus on balancing the number of policy tools used and optimizing the use structure; promote the complementary function of policy tools and realize the scientific combination of configuration; adjust the degree of policy focus to achieve balanced development; enhance the stability of the implementation of policy tools and achieve standardized and orderly operation, and further optimize and improve the formulation and implementation of science popularization policies.

    To obtain a set of core indicators system for the assessment of science popularization work in provincial districts with both flexibility and practicality, this study conducted in-depth interviews with a total of 15 ministers of science and technology popularization at the provincial association for science and technology, distributed in the eastern, central and western parts of China. About 130 000 words of standardized interview texts were accumulated for open coding, axial coding, and selective coding in Nvivo11plus. In addition, the attitude and reasons for specific indicators were analyzed separately using matrix coding. From this, three sets of core indicators for assessing provincial science popularization work were proposed respectively applicable to the eastern, central, and western regions. Traditional indicators such as personnel, funding, and infrastructure were included. Moreover, integrate quantitative indicators that can reflect the latest science popularization trends, such as science popularization products and media and the new situation of science popularization were also used. In addition, qualitative cases were introduced to support quantitative indicators to provide a more comprehensive assessment of provincial science popularization.

    Exhibition-Based educational programs are a major tool for science and technology museums to deliver informal science education. To address visitors' increasingly complex and diverse needs, science and technology museums should use visitor segmentation and service orientation to design Exhibition-Based educational programs to achieve quality, efficient and sustainable development. However, there is a lack of empirical study that explores the current situation, existing issues and improvement strategies of Exhibition-Based educational programs with visitor segmentation in science and technology museums. Thus, this study applies the qualitative research method to conduct semi-structured interviews with 27 educators from 22 museums, and analyse interview results using the Nvivo 11.0 software. According to the study, exhibition support, program planning and program implementation are key elements of educational programs with visitor segmentation.Identifying core elements of the practice can be conducive to setting up an ideal model for organizing targeted programs. On this basis, it is proposed that science and technology museums could improve the quality of their educational programs in three aspects:visitor-based exhibition support, all-around customized program planning and whole-process program implementation. The results can provide a reference and basis for optimizing exhibition-based educational programs in science and technology museums.

    Science and technology volunteer service play an important role in promoting the integration of technology and the economy, stimulating the vitality of innovation in the whole society. This article investigates scientific and technological volunteer service organizations, scientific, technological volunteers and the public by questionnaire and interview, to analyze the development situation of scientific and technological voluntary services in China. The research finds that the awareness of the importance of science and technology volunteering needs to be improved, the awareness of volunteering needs to be enhanced; the related management system is not perfect, and the operation mechanism needs to be smoothed urgently; endogenous motivation is insufficient, innovation vitality is difficult to stimulate; the guarantee is relatively inadequate, and shortcomings in service capabilities exist; main platforms are decentralized and independent, and data interconnection is insufficient. The end of the article gives suggestions for increasing publicity and promotion, improving the management system and operation mechanism, attaching importance to evaluation and incentive, strengthening service guarantee and capacity construction, and promoting platform upgrading and data management.

    In public emergencies, rumor related to science and technologyon the internet damage social stability and shared interests. Scientific rumor refutation is a key method to deal with it. The traditional anti-rumor mechanism mainly includes four types such as government-leading, media-leading, public participation and multi-agent collaboration. Analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the above mechanism in rumor refutation will help to build a more effective rumor governance system. To strengthen the governance of the rumors related to science and technology, we need to integrate different anti-rumor organizations, build a rumor governance community, and take advantage of the four types of rumor suppression mechanisms. Governments at all levels should incorporate the anti-rumor job into the public opinion management work system, strengthen the construction of joint anti-rumor mechanism led by the government, and create an accessible way for public participation.

    Based on the theoretical perspective of mediology, this paper investigates science communication under the networking knowledge brokerage mode. The research argues that there are extensive connections and hierarchical impacts of networking in science communication activities. The intermediate position in the process of science communication is often ignored, but it also plays a potential role. In the mediated process of science communication, the public is easy to formation path dependence, the sense of inquiry and the willingness to think actively is declining day by day, and scientific seriousness is also impacted; In the context of the iteration of mediasphere, science communication is facing challenges such as the deconstruction of knowledge authority and the evolution of scientific significance, while the communication practice is still affected by traditional science popularization ideas. In this regard, science communication should promote "reverse convergence", avoid "technological myopia", combine with national strategies, connect Two-Cultures, and shape scientific culture with the spirit of scientists as the guide.

    Taking users of science popularization WeChat public account as the main research object, the TAM technology acceptance model was used to focus on the dimensions of perceived psychology (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and perceived entertainment), satisfaction, cost, external environment, and willingness to continuously use, to construct a model of users' willingness to constantly use science popularization WeChat public account and to explore the important factors affecting users' willingness to use continuously. The results show that after controlling for gender, age, and education demographic variables, perceived psychology, external factors, and satisfaction have significant positive effects on users' willingness to continuously use; cost does not have the expected negative impact on users' continuous use of science popularization weibo, but it has certain theoretical and practical significance on the research results. Finally, according to the results of the hypothesis test analysis, it is proposed that science popularization WeChat public account should be based on content connection, simplify the obscure language style, add the entertainment and fun of science information presentation, conform to the current social communication discourse system for information transmission, reduce the cost of users, adjust the operation thinking at the right time, and promote the continuous use behavior of users to turn.

    At present, the stock business competition is fierce, the consumer groups are scattered, and the "children's economy" has once again triggered an upsurge. Under the dual influence of the information society and the post-epidemic era, the orderly restoration of children's businesses plays a key role in objectively boosting commercial traffic and reviving the market. This paper aims to help many commercial projects increase their entry points for attracting traffic, avoid similarities in business models, open up new channels in the midst of homogeneity, and explore business solutions that are relevant to the current situation. After sorting out and analysing the economy of the children's industry, the theoretical viewpoint of creating a spatial environment system of perceptual immersion experience and building a mental immersion interactive experience context is proposed, and a strategic method of constructing an immersion experience scene with science knowledge conveyance as the core and parents and children as the target user group is summarised, providing inspiration and reference for promoting the development of China's immersion experience consumption market and the practice of linking children's business to science popularisation.

    Patriotism and collectivism have played an essential role in promoting the public to actively take preventive measures and vaccinate against the COVID-19 epidemic in China. Previous related studies were mainly conducted through questionnaires, which has led to a lack of understanding of how this spirit dominates people's epidemic prevention behavior in the natural state. The article focuses on "the mainstream discourse of vaccination in public opinion". Using the method of frame analysis, this paper summarizes the frameworks of COVID-19 vaccines on Sina Weibo and discusses the cultural factors behind them. Through open coding, the research outlines eight frameworks about the topic of COVID-19 vaccines on Sina Weibo-magic weapon, risk, urgent need, long march, solidarity is the power, national achievement, the community of destiny, and political struggle, which account for 79.5% of the sample. We also found that pandemic related mainstream discourse tends to construct the personal experience or attitude of the COVID-19 vaccination from a macro perspective on Sina Weibo; "collectivism" and "patriotism" are the most distinctive features of Weibo discourse. These characteristics of discourse provide new ideas for science popularization and social mobilization of public health emergencies and an even broader field of health advocacy.

    With the advent of big data, privacy and information security have become one of the most widely discussed issues in using big data. Domestic and foreign researchers have made some achievements regarding the conflict and balance between big data sharing and privacy protection. Still, the public as the core stakeholder has been somewhat ignored. As for the privacy issue of personal information collection and processing in the era of big data, there is still a lack of research on public understanding. So this study taking Sina Weibo, a widely used social media in China, as the object, we collected the content analysis of all items about big data and privacy from January to February 2020. In addition, 214 questionnaires were taken by members of the public in the Beijing area in April 2021. On the basis of the above two types of research, the current status of "public understanding of big data" in mainland China is summarized as follows: (1) the public has a limited understanding of the privacy issues brought by big data technology; (2) Communication of various media is not in place; (3) There is no systematic open supervision mechanism for monitoring of big data technology. The possible deep reasons and the solution under the concept of public understanding science are discussed.

    The action to improve teenagers' scientific literacy is an important part of the whole nation's scientific literacy construction. This study investigated the chain mediating effect of scientific epistemological beliefs and scientific self-efficacy on the relationship between family socioeconomic status (SES) and students' achievements in science. Using a questionnaire adapted from the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA), we evaluated middle school students' achievements in science and relevant characteristics (N=651, 16.17±0.54 years old). We know that the students' achievements in science are also used as an indicator of students' scientific literacy. The results showed that: (1) family SES, scientific epistemological beliefs, scientific self-efficacy and students' achievements in science were positively correlated with each other; (2) family SES positively affect scientific epistemological beliefs and scientific self-efficacy respectively; (3) scientific epistemological beliefs and scientific self-efficacy have a chain mediating effect on the relationship between family SES and students' achievements in science. These results suggested that improving the scientific literacy of disadvantaged students can be promoted by enhancing scientific epistemological beliefs and self-efficacy.
