In recentyears，with thewide application of antibacterial drugs，their drug resistance is rising，and the development of drug resistance is far greater than the development of antibacterial drugs，leading to a serious threat to human life and health and increasing the economic burden ofmedical and health care. The detection rate of carbapenem resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae（CRKP）in pediatric wards in China is increasing. CRPK sepsis in children lacks specific clinicalmanifestations，and its onset is hidden. But it has strong pathogenicity and rapid progression，and is prone tomultiple organ failure. Carbapenem antibiotics are still themainmeans to treat CRKP infection. With the in-depth study of CRKP sepsis in traditional Chinesemedicine，more and more attention has been paid to the treatment of CRKP sepsis with traditional Chinesemedicine. This article aimed to review the characteristics of carbapenem resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae sepsis in children and the research progress of traditional Chinese medicine treatment.
