To analyze the therapeutic effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with Shenqi Tongbi Prescription（参芪通痹方）on diabetes peripheral neuropathy with deficiency of both Qi and Yin deficiency with blood stasis syndrome and its influence on nerve conduction.

This study selected 82 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy（deficiency of both Qi and Yin deficiency with blood stasis syndrome）who were treated in the hospital from December 2021 to December 2023 as the research subjects. Using the random number table method，the patients were randomly divided into two groups，with 41 patients in each group. The control group received the conventional Western medicine treatment，while the observation group was treated with wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with Shenqi Tongbi Prescription. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed，observing the changes in TCM syndrome scores，Toronto Clinical Scoring System（TCSS），blood glucose levels，nerve conduction velocity and the levels of serum cystatin C（Cys-C），insulin-like growth factor-1（IGF-1）and C-peptide（C-P）.

The overall effectiveness of the observation group was 95.12%（39/41）and that of the control group was 73.17%（30/41）. The overall effectiveness of the observation group was higher than that of the control group，and the difference between the groups was significant（P<0.05）. After treatment，the traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores，TCSS scores and blood glucose index levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group（P<0.05）. After treatment，the levels of motor nerve conduction velocity（MNCV）and sensory nerve conduction velocity（SNCV）in the observation group were higher than those in the control group（P<0.05）. After treatment，the Cys-C level in the observation group decreased，while the levels of IGF-1 and C-P increased，both of which were better than those of the control group，and the difference between the groups was significant（P<0.05）.

In the treatment of patients with deficiency of both Qi and Yin deficiency with blood stasis syndrome of diabetic peripheral neuropathy，wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with Shenqi Tongbi Prescription can significantly alleviate limb numbness and pain，help to reduce blood sugar，regulate the levels of Cys-C，IGF-1 and C-P，and improve the nerve conduction speed，which has a positive impact on the rehabilitation process of patients.
