“Honey-Processing method enhancing the tonifying effects” preliminarily clarifies the role of honey processing, provides a theoretical basis for the honey processing of traditional Chinese medicine, and is an important part of the traditional processing theory of traditional Chinese medicine. The purpose of Chinese herbal honey preparation includes enhancing the effect of moisturizing lung and relieving cough, enhancing the effect of tonifying spleen and invigorating Qi, alleviating medicinal properties, correcting the taste and eliminating the side effects. Modern research has found that the use of honey to concoct drugs can change the active ingredients in many aspects, thus playing a synergistic effect. The study of honey processing and the changes of material base before and after honey processing can provide ideas for the subsequent clarification of the processing mechanism of honey-processed products from the aspects of cellular level and molecular mechanism, and deeply reveal the scientific connotation of the processing theory of traditional Chinese medicine “honey-processing method enhancing the tonifying effects” .
