To analyze the effects of Shenfu Injection（参附注射液）on tissue perfusion and blood oxygen metabolism in the treatment of septic shock with Yang Qi sudden collapse syndrome.
This study employed a retrospective case-control design to statistically analyze 92 cases of septic shock with Yang Qi sudden collapse syndrome treated in the Emergency Internal Medicine Observation Room and the Emergency Intensive Care Unit（EICU）of the Sixth People's Hospital affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from February 2023 to February 2024. The patients meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into a control group（46 cases treated with standard septic shock therapy）and the observation group（46 cases received standard septic shock therapy in conjunction with Shenfu Injection）. Hemodynamic indexes，lactic acid level and clearance，urine volume，acute physiology and chronic health evaluationⅡ（APACHEⅡ）and sequential organ failure assessment（SOFA）score were compared between the two groups.
After treatment，the values of mean arterial pressure（MAP），central venous pressure（CVP），central venous oxygen saturation（ScVO2），lactic acid clearance and urine volume of the observation group were higher than those of the control group，and lactic acid level was lower than control group（P<0.05）. The mechanical ventilation time，vasoactive drug use time and early goal-directed therapy（EGDT）compliance time in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，and the differences were significant（P<0.05）. After treatment，the levels of procalcitonin（PCT），C-reactive protein（CRP）and tumor necrosis factor-alpha（TNF-α）in the observation group were lower than those in the control group（P<0.05）. After treatment，APACHEⅡ scores and SOFA scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group（P<0.05）.
Shenfu Injection can effectively improve tissue perfusion level and blood oxygen metabolism，increase the lactate clearance rate，enhance the tissue circulation oxygen supply and blood circulation，correct shock faster and improve the prognosis of patients with septic shock.
