In order to better meet people´s health needs and provide a useful reference for the high-quality development of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）industry in China.
This paper systematically summarized the present value chain situation of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）industry in China.
It summarized the basic situation of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）industry in China in four aspects，including planting industry，Chinese patent medicine industry，circulation and knowledge industries.
Countermeasures for the development of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）industry in China have been proposed，which should strengthen the management of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）and realize large-scale planting and production，strengthen the brand construction of Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）and expand the international market，and increase the scientific and technological research to promote the sustainable development of the Wuweizi（Schisandra chinensis）industry.
