To investigate the effects of Qishen Yiqi Dropping Pills（芪参益气滴丸）combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation on clinical symptoms，cardiac function and oxidative stress in patients with acute heart failure（AHF）.
A total of 110 patients with acute heart failure admitted to the hospital from November 2017 to November 2022 were selected as study subjects.According to different treatment methods，they were divided into study group and control group，55 cases in each group.Both groups received conventional western medicine treatment plus non-invasive positive pressure ventilation.The study group combined with Qishen Yiqi Dripping Pills.The changes of physical signs，clinical efficacy，cardiac function indexes（EF），B-type brain natriuretic peptide precursor（NT-probNP）and oxidative stress indexes［serum superoxide dismutase（SOD），glutathione peroxidase（GSH-Px），malondialdehyde（MAD）］were compared between the two groups.
24 h after treatment，the values of heart rate（HR），respiratory rate（RR），mean arterial pressure（MAP）and oxygenation index（PO2/FiO2）in both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment（P<0.05），and the improvement degree of all indexes in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group（P<0.05）.The total effective rate of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group（P<0.05）.In the study group，4 cases were ineffective，3 cases were improved and 1 case died after endotracheal intubation and invasive ventilation.In the control group，12 cases were ineffective，8 cases were improved and 4 cases died after endotracheal intubation and invasive ventilation.After 3 d treatment，the levels of EF and NT-probNP in both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment（P<0.05），and the improvement degree in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group（P<0.05）.After 3 d treatment，the levels of SOD，GSH-Px and MAD in both groups were significantly improved compared with before treatment（P<0.05），and the improvement in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group（P<0.05）.Serious adverse reactions occurred in both groups during treatment.
Qishen Yiqi Dropping Pills combined with non-invasive positive pressure ventilation can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of acute heart failure，and has significant effects on improving clinical symptoms，cardiac function and oxidative stress of patients，and has a high safety，suitable for promotion.
