To study the effect of TCM constitution types on stress response of general anesthesia combined with epidural block in elderly patients with cervical cancer undergoing laparoscopic hysterectomy.

A total of 420 elderly patients with cervical cancer admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected.The laparoscopic hysterectomy was successfully completed under general anesthesia combined with epidural block，and there were 140 cases of mild constitution，140 cases of Yin deficiency constitution and 140 cases of Yang deficiency constitution.The anesthesia conditions of patients with different constitution types，vital signs and stress response at 5 min before anesthesia，30 min after anesthesia and 6 h after operation were compared.The anesthesia conditions included remifentanil dosage，propofol dosage，anesthesia induction time，recovery time，vital signs indexes included body temperature，heart rate，respiratory rate）and stress response indexes included norepinephrine，epinephrine and cortisol.

There was no significant difference in remifentanil dosage，propofol dosage or anesthesia induction time among the three groups（P>0.05）.The recovery time of patients with mild constitution was shorter（P<0.05）.There was no significant difference in body temperature，respiratory rate and heart rate among the three groups at 5 min before an-esthesia（P>0.05）.The body temperature，respiratory rate and heart rate of the three groups decreased at 30 min after anesthesia，and returned to be normal at 6 h after operation.There was no significant difference among the three groups（P>0.05）.The above indexes of the three groups were significantly increased at 30 min after anesthesia，and significantly decreased at 6 h after operation.The levels of norepinephrine，epinephrine and cortisol in patients with mild constitution were significantly better than those in patients with Yin deficiency constitution and Yang deficiency constitution at 30 min after anesthesia and 6 h after operation（P<0.05）.

The elderly patients with cervical cancer with gentle constitution can better regulate the stress response of general anesthesia combined with epidural block in laparoscopic hysterectomy，which is beneficial to the postoperative rehabilitation of patients.
