Renshen Guipi Pills（人参归脾丸）originated from Jishengfang of the Song dynasty，and were consisted of 10 kinds of herbs such as Renshen（Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma），Baizhu（Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma），Fuling（Poria），Gancao（Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma），Huangqi（Astragali Radix），Danggui（Angelicae Sinensis Radix），Muxiang（Aucklandiae Radix），Yuanzhi（Polygalae Radix），Longyan（Longan Arillus），Suanzaoren（Ziziphi Spinosae Semen）and so on.The dosage forms include big honey pill and water honey pill.The whole prescription has the effects of tonifying energy and enrich blood，strengthening spleen and nourishing heart，and could be used for the treatment of insomnia，fatigue and anemia.Through consulting and analyzing the relevant literature，the author found that Renshen Guipi Pills showed good effects for nervous system diseases（insomnia，fatigue），hematological diseases（anemia，leukopenia and hypersplenism），gynecological diseases（bleeding，pelvic floor dysfunction and hypomenorrhea），circulatory system diseases and immune system diseases.Quality control mainly focused on content testing and quality standard researches.While there were not many researches on related pharmacology.Here，the authors summarized and analyzed the findings about clinical applications，quality control and pharmacologic actions of Renshen Guipi Pills，in order to provide more ideas and basis for their clinical application.
