To analyze the clinical value of Modified Xiaoji Yinzi（小蓟饮子加减）combined with Compound Mufurong Nasal Ointment（复方木芙蓉涂鼻软膏）in treating epistaxis in Little's area.
Seventy children with epistaxis in Little's area admitted to the hospital from January 2022 to May 2022 were randomly divided into a combined group and a control group，with 35 cases in each group.The two groups were treated with nasal irrigation with normal saline，erythromycin eye ointment and Compound Mufurong Nasal Ointment，while the combined group was treated with Modified Xiaoji Yinzi.The therapeutic effects，symptoms and changes of blood routine test results of the two groups were compared，and the clinical value of the two treatment schemes was analyzed.
After 7 days of treatment，the symptoms of epistaxis，nasal cavity ulcer and nasal cavity erosion in the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment.After 7 days of treatment，the incidence of epistaxis，nasal cavity ulcer and nasal cavity erosion in the combined group was lower than that in the control group，with statistical significance（P<0.05）.After 7 days of combined treatment，the total clinical effective rate of group A was 100.00%，which was higher than that of the control group（82.86%）with statistical significance（P<0.05）.After 7 days of treatment，the levels of white blood cells（WBC）and C-reaction protein（CRP）in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment.After 7 days of treatment，the levels of WBC and CRP in the combined group were lower than those in the control group with statistical significance（P<0.05）.There was no recurrence in the two-month follow-up of the effective group，but there were 5 cases in the control group，with a recurrence rate of 17.24%（5/29），and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant（P=0.037）.
On the basis of Compound Mufurong Nasal Ointment，the clinical effect of treating epistaxis in Little's area by combined application of Modified Xiaoji Yinzi is more significant，and there are obvious advantages in improving children's symptoms，alleviating inflammatory reaction，preventing anemia and reducing the risk of recurrence.
