Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes（TILs）therapy has become one of the most promising immunotherapies at present，and its advantages of good effect and low toxicity and side effects have made it more and more popular in clinical treatment. TILs are a kind of immune cells present in tumor tissues，which play the role of inhibiting tumor growth and specifically killing tumor cells by directly or indirectly participating in immune response. Traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）has a profound influence in the field of tumor therapy，and a large number of studies have shown that TCM monomers，such as mulberry huang polysaccharides，triptolide，artemisinin，glycyrrhizic acid and so on，directly or indirectly enhance the killing ability of immune cells against tumor cells by promoting the function of T cells，natural killer（NK）cells，or inhibiting the function of tumor-associated macrophage（TAMs），dendritic cells（DCs），myeloid-derived suppressor cells（MDSCs）and regulatory T cells（Tregs），which in turn exerts an anti-tumor effect. In this paper，it screened and summarized the research results on the anti-tumor effects of TCM monomers regulating TILs in recent years，and took TILs as the starting point to introduce in detail the mechanism of action of TCM monomers regulating TILs，with a view to promoting the research and development of new drugs for TCM monomers regulating TILs in anti-tumor，exploring the new ideas and methods of TCM in the field of tumor treatment and assisting the TCM to go towards the road of modernization successfully in the treatment of tumors.
