Qingfengteng（Sinomenii Caulis）is a commonly used clinical drug to dispel wind-dampness，with the effect of dispelling wind dampness，dredging meridians and promoting urine. At present，alkaloids，triterpenoids，lignans，lactenate，anthraquinone，volatile oil and other compounds have been identified from Qingfengteng（Sinomenii Caulis），which have anti-inflammatory，analgesic，immunosuppression，anti-tumor and anti-cardiovascular diseases effects. According to the relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years，the chemical composition，pharmacological mechanism of action，clinical application and attenuation and efficiency strategies of Qingfengteng（Sinomenii Caulis）were summarized，so as to provide reference for the further development and utilization of the medicinal resources of Qingfengteng（Sinomenii Caulis）.
