Thermal Power Generation Officially Indexed in DOAJ
2026-08-03

Recently, following rigorous qualification review, verification of publication standards, and academic quality assessment, Thermal Power Generation has been officially indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), the world’s most influential open access journal directory. This is another landmark achievement for the journal after its inclusion this year in international databases such as the European Academic Publishing Center database (EuroPub), the Polish Copernicus Index journal database (ICI World of Journals), and the open access journal portal J-Gate. It means that the academic quality control and open access publishing standards of Thermal Power Generation have gained international recognition, and the journal’s internationalization has reached a new level.

DOAJ is currently the world’s largest open access journal database. Founded by Lund University in Sweden, it covers all disciplines, including science and technology, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities, and is one of the world’s five major literature retrieval systems, alongside PubMed, SCI, Scopus, and EI. The database’s selection and review standards are extremely stringent, with exceptionally high requirements for openness, transparency, and academic standards. Only open access journals that meet industry best practices and maintain relatively high quality are eligible for inclusion. This inclusion in DOAJ will not only significantly enhance the international visibility and academic influence of Thermal Power Generation, but also demonstrate that the journal has gained international recognition in the rigor of peer review, adherence to publishing ethics, and open access compliance. On this occasion, the editorial office would like to express its sincerest gratitude to leaders at all levels who have long cared about and guided the journal’s development, to all editorial board members and peer reviewers for their hard work, and to our authors and readers for their continued support! In the future, Thermal Power Generation will take this opportunity to remain true to its original academic mission, continuously improve its publishing quality and dissemination capacity, and contribute more to promoting scientific and technological innovation and high-quality development in the energy and power sector.
