In an era of globalization，cultural soft power has emerged as a vital measure of a nation’s competitiveness and its influence in global discourse. As a key vehicle for cross-cultural communication，literature plays a significant role in fostering international cultural exchange. In recent years, Liu Cixin’s science fiction novel The Three-Body Problem has garnered numerous international awards，ignited a surge in domestic sci-fi creation，and become an emblem of China’s cultural outreach. Its dissemination in East Asian nations—particularly Japan and South Korea—exhibits notable similarities，reflecting the “5W” communication model and achieving considerable impact. By examining the dissemination strategies of The Three-Body Problem in Japan and South Korea，this study provides valuable insights and practical guidance for promoting Chinese science fiction literature on the global stage.

Promoting original science popularization publishing and providing the public with a wide variety of excellent science popularization works is an important way to enhance the national scientific literacy. This article analyzes the implementation of Jiangsu Province’s Science Popularization Creation and Publishing Support Plan since 2021，elaborates on its positive impacts on original science popularization publishing in terms of talent cultivation，achievement output，and environment building，and summarizes the shortcomings in the implementation process. It is suggested to further optimize the review mechanism，expand the scope of topics，innovate the dissemination mechanism，improve the incentive measures，and strengthen the incentive effect of the support plan on original science popularization publishing.

Large model-assisted science popularization creation，with its unique advantages，heralds a profound transformation in the field of science communication. This article reviews the significant impacts of large models on science popularization from their distinctive functionalities and their disruption of traditional paradigms. It highlights the empowering role of large models in this domain，evaluates the risks and cognitive biases associated with large model-assisted science popularization，and proposes countermeasures for actively embracing this new era of human-AI collaborative science creation.

Scientist documentaries present the life stories of scientists，depicting a historical panorama in which the community of Chinese scientists interacts with the grand trajectory of China’s technological development. As archival evidence for research into scientists and their ideas，these documentaries contribute to the formation of a historical visual record of scientists，thereby broadening both the utilization and research paradigms of scientist-related visual materials. Focusing on a century of technological progress in China，Century Masters：Science and Technology Edition narrates the stories of eight scientists，establishing a representative narrative mechanism for Chinese scientists and offering a systematic expression of the scientist spirit.

In information and communication theory，the metaphor of a “handshake” symbolizes the initial interaction between humans and machines，and it is precisely the connection between human-machine coupling units that forms the current artificial intelligence network system. The mechanism behind this function can be explained through actor-network theory（ANT）with metaphorical insights，as proposed by scholars like Bruno Latour. The intentionality and agency embedded in the AI network grant it a quasi-subject and moral quasi-subject status. To more vividly illustrate the operational states and representations of AI across different contexts，three literary images— “the Half-Blood Prince，”“the Stitched Monster，”and“the Chaos Demon”—are used to metaphorically represent these states. Building on these metaphors，the paper proposes adopting a “positive responsibility” perspective to foster the shared development of humans and AI in creative endeavors.

With the advancement of media technologies and the increasing integration of aesthetics into daily life，combining popular science documentaries with desktop cinema and expanding the content themes of desktop films has marked a milestone in the integration of science and visual media. Network Neighborhood exemplifies this new form of media art by using visual symbols to narrate a popular science journey within computer desktops，presenting diverse artistic symbols and showcasing scientific symbolic landscapes through smart replicated images.

Based on the principle of spatialization of time，Haiya’s The The Space-Time Painter imagines the time travel realized by space projection，thereby unfolding a spatio-temporal narrative where the Northern Song Dynasty overlaps with the present. The historical perspective implied in The Space-Time Painter aligns with the propositions of neo-historicism，and the imaginative portrayal of historical time and space reinvigorates the narrative resources of national identity in historical science fiction. The internal conflict between rational disenchantment and historical myths highlights the tensions surrounding national identity in Chinese historical science fiction.
