To explore the categories based on humanistic practice competence, moral distress, and moral resilience of psychiatric nurses, and to analyze the relationship between different categories and turnover intention.
A total of 370 psychiatric nurses from one psychiatric specialty hospital and three second grade A and above general hospitals in Guangdong Province were selected as the study subjects spanned from January 20,2025 to February 18,2025.A general information questionnaire, the Nurse Humanistic Practice Competence Scale, the Moral Distress Scale for psychiatric nurses, the Chinese version of Rushton Moral Resilience Scale, and Intent to Quit Scale were used for the survey.Mplus 8.3 was used for latent profile analysis to explore the different categories based on humanistic practice competence, moral distress, and moral resilience of psychiatric nurses.Regression analysis was used to explore the differences in turnover intention among nurses in different categories.
Psychiatric nurses could be divided into three categories based on their humanistic practice competence, moral distress, and moral resilience. The high competence-low distress group accounted for 67.57%.The balanced group accounted for 21.89%.The low competence-high distress group accounted for 10.54%.There were statistically significant differences in terms of turnover intention scores among psychiatric nurses in different categories (F=14.587,P<0.01).The results of the regression analysis showed that the turnover intention of psychiatric nurses in the balanced group and the low competence-high distress group were higher (P<0.05).
Psychiatric nurses can be divided into three categories based on their humanistic practice competence, moral distress, and moral resilience. The turnover intention of psychiatric nurses in the low competence-high distress group and the balanced group are higher.Managers should pay more attention to these groups and develop targeted strategies to reduce the turnover rate of psychiatric nurses.
To investigate the status quo of anxiety and depression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and comorbidities based on random forest algorithm and analyze their influencing factors.
A total of 1 652 patients with T2DM and comorbidities were selected by convenience sampling from a tertiary hospital and 3 community hospitals in Pudong New District,Shanghai city from November 2023 to April 2024.A general information questionnaire, the Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale(GAD-7),and the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9) were used for the survey.Random forest was employed to screen for significant influencing factors.Logistic regression analysis was conducted to explore the factors influencing anxiety and depression in these patients.
Among the 1 652 patients,382(23.1%) had anxiety, and 565(34.2%) had depression.Six factors influenced anxiety, ranked in descending order of importance was marital status, employment status, age, number of comorbidities, family history of diabetes, and alcohol consumption history.Nine factors influenced depression, ranked in descending order of importance was age, family history of diabetes, employment status, education level, marital status, monthly household income, number of comorbidities, disease duration, and body mass index(BMI).The result of Logistic regression analysis showed that age, marital status, employment status, family history of diabetes, and number of comorbidities were common influencing factors for both anxiety and depression in patients with T2DM and comorbidities(P<0.05).Alcohol consumption history was a factor for anxiety(P<0.05).While BMI,education level, monthly household income, and disease duration were factors for depression(P<0.05).
The incidence of anxiety and depression was relatively high among patients with T2DM and comorbidities, with multiple influencing factors.Healthcare providers should identify these factors early and implement targeted interventions to improve patients' mental health and outcomes.
To analyze the categories of change fatigue among clinical nurses and to explore the influencing factors of change fatigue in different categories of nurses.
A total of 748 clinical nurses from a tertiary grade A hospital in Hebei Province were selected as the study subjects using convenience sampling method from November to December 2024.A general information questionnaire, the Chinese version of the Change Fatigue Scale(CFS),the Chinese version of the Voice Behavior Scale, and the Chinese version of Essentials of Magnetism Scale(EOM) were used for the survey.Latent profile analysis was conducted based on the scores of each item of the Chinese version of the CFS among nurses.Univariate analysis and multinomial Logistic regression analysis were used to explore the influencing factors of different categories.
The average item score of the Chinese version of the CFS for nurses was 3.13±1.57 points.Based on the scores of Chinese version of the CFS,change fatigue of nurses could be categorized into three categories, namely the low-fatigue adaptation type(48.7%),the morderate burnout type(39.8%),and the high-fatigue exhaustion type(11.5%).The results of the multinomial Logistic regression analysis showed that job stress, workload, voice behavior, and hospital magnetism level were influencing factors for the different categories of change fatigue of nurses(P<0.05).
The level of change fatigue among clinical nurses was moderate to low and exhibited group heterogeneity.Nursing managers should focus on nurses of the morderate burnout type and high-fatigue exhaustion type, and implement targeted interventions according to the influencing factors of different categories to reduce their level of change fatigue.
To construct a quality evaluation index system for traditional Chinese medicine nursing of sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease(SPID)(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome).
Based on the three-dimensional quality structure model of "structure-process-outcome",a quality evaluation index system for traditional Chinese medicine nursing of SPID(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome) was constructed through literature review,semi-structured interviews, and the Delphi expert consultation method. The weight of each indicator was determined by the analytic hierarchy process.
The effective response rates for the two rounds of expert consultations were both 100.00%.The expert opinion proposal rates were 60.0% and 26.7%,respectively.The expert authority coefficients were 0.877 and 0.910,respectively.The Kendall's harmony coefficients were 0.241 and 0.370,respectively(both P<0.01).The final constructed index system included 3 first-level indicators,14 second-level indicators, and 60 third-level indicators.
The quality evaluation index system for traditional Chinese medicine nursing of SPID(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome) constructed in this study is scientific, reliable, systematic, and comprehensive. It could provide a reference for the evaluation and continuous improvement of the quality of traditional Chinese medicine nursing.
