This study systematically sorted that the epidemiological characteristics,influencing factors and mechanisms of hearing impairment in the elderly,revealed the bidirectional association between hearing impairment and social isolation,and proposed social alienation interventions for elderly patients with hearing impairment.It aimed to provide reference for the social alienation intervention for elderly patients with hearing impairment in China,and to improve their quality of life and sense of well-being.
