Objective: To explore the effects of Zhilou Sukang Decoction on wound healing and inflammatory factors after mixed hemorrhoids surgery. Methods: A total of 133 patients with mixed hemorrhoids who underwent surgical treatment at Xinrui Hospital in Xinwu District of Wuxi from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (n=67) and the observation group (n =66). The control group was given conventional Western medical treatment. On the basis of the treatment of the control group, the observation group was given hemorrhoid fistula Zhilou Sukang Decoction sitz bath. Both groups were intervened for 2 weeks. The healing efficacy, pain degree, anal distension, quality of life, wound area, granulation tissue growth score, inflammatory factors and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Result: In the control group of wound healing, the total effective rate of the observation group (93.94%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (74.63%) (P <0.05) ; One day after the treatment, the wound pain in the observation group was significantly relieved after each sitz bath. In the first week of treatment, the wound pain was more obvious in the control group, while the pain improvement effect was significant in the observation group after applying the sitz bath formula. From the second week, the wound pain in the observation group showed a continuous decreasing trend. In terms of the quantitative comparison of pain, the VAS score of the observation group decreased extremely significantly, and the VAS scores at each stage after treatment were significantly lower than those of the control group (all P < 0.05). After treatment, all pain indicators in both groups decreased, and the improvement degree of pain attack frequency and duration in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (all P < 0.05). After the treatment, the scores of the feeling of heaviness in both groups decreased. The observation group was significantly better than the control group in relieving the feeling of heaviness (all P < 0.05). After the treatment, the WHOQOL - BREF scores of both groups increased, and the increase in the observation group was greater (P < 0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the wound area and granulation tissue growth score indicators in both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, and the improvement amplitude in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (all P < 0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the levels of the above inflammatory factors in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment, and the reduction amplitude in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (all P < 0.05). During the treatment period of the two groups, 2 cases of mild local pruritus occurred in the observation group (3.03%), and 1 case of skin redness after iodophor disinfection occurred in the control group(1.49%). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions (P > 0.05).Conclusion: The application of Zhilou Sukang Decoction sitz bath combined with western medicine intervention for patients after mixed hemorrhoids surgery can rapidly relieve wound pain, wound area, granulation tissue growth score, improve the feeling of heaving and inflammatory factor levels, and significantly enhance the wound healing effect, therefore, it is worthy of vigorous clinical promotion.

Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of pounding needling combined with Shaoshanhuo acupuncture(Mountain - burning fire needling technique) in patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR), and to explore its influences on cervical range of motion and hemodynamics parameters. Methods: According to random grouping method, 200 patients with CSR treated in Luoyang Orthopedic - Traumatological Hospital Of Henan Province were divided into control group (n=100, lifting, thrusting and rotating method) and observation group (n = 100, pounding needling combined with Shaoshanhuo acupuncture) between August 2019 and August 2024. All patients were treated for 2 courses of treatment (2 weeks/course). After treatment, clinical curative effect, scores of TCM syndromes, impairment of cervical spine function [neck disability index (NDI)], cervical spine pain [Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)], cervical range of motion and vertebral artery hemodynamics [peak systolic velocity (VS), mean flow velocity(VM), pulsatility index (PI), resistance index (RI)] in the two groups were compared. Results: After treatment, clinical response rates in observation group and control group were 96.00% (96/100) and 88.00% (88/100), the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Compared with control group after treatment, scores of TCM syndromes, NDI and NRS, PI and RI were higher (P <0.01), while cervical range of motion, VS and VM were lower in observation group (P < 0.01).Conclusion: Compared with single therapy, curative effect of combined with Shaoshanhuo acupuncture is more significant, which can effectively improve disease symptoms, cervical range of motion and hemodynamics indexes in CSR patients.

This paper elaborates on the etiology, pathogenesis, and treatment based on syndrome differentiation. It suggests that androgenetic alopecia is fundamentally characterized by deficiency of the internal organs, with dampness, wind, heat, and blood stasis as its secondary manifestations. The discussion covers internal treatment methods such as tonifying the liver and kidney, clearing heat and promoting diuresis, cooling blood and dispelling wind, and nourishing blood and moisturizing dryness, along with external treatments including acupuncture, topical preparations, and massage. The aim is to highlight the unique advantages of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of this condition, thereby enhancing clinical efficacy. Therefore, recent literature on TCM treatments for androgenetic alopecia has been reviewed in this paper.
