ArchiveWeb2.0 has made a brand-new style of science popularization-participatory science popularization which focus on creating and sharing. According to recent studies on internet science popularization, this paper comes up with the concept of participatory science popularization, including its definition, connotation, characteristics as well as its impact upon traditional science popularization, science popularization workers and the public.
Making meaning from experiences in science popularization context is a proceeding of participating, cognition and making decision. Participates will get emotional happiness and rational improvement in the proceeding. Participates’ preferences and beliefs improve the decision making and cognition, and it can be explained with the behavior science on behavior bias. Mental accounting experiments and information cascade experiments are designed to examine consumers’ decision-making of their behavior and cognition from experiences in science popularization context. The results show metal accounting will impact upon experiences, the same funds are irreplaceable, mode of gain and loss will also impact upon the decisions, and learning is the most important factor which makes participates involve in experiences. Information cascade exists in experiences in science popularization context.
In the 21st century animated cartoon for science popularization has played an important role in science communication. There is a wide gap in the development of animated cartoon between China and Japan. By a comparative study on animated cartoon for science popularization in China and Japan, we could learn from the Japanese experience which is a big help for the undertaking in our country.

By analyzing the production amounts of the sci-fi films of China and US (1995-2008) and a case study on history of sci-fi film, it shows how science & technology popularization of sci-fi film functions. This paper has analyzed five issues of science communication in terms of scientific facts, process of scientific research, scientific theory, experience of scientific research and social significance of scientific research through a content analysis of websites of six science and technology museums in the United States and China. Firstly, there are fewer articles on Chinese websites than those on websites in the United States, secondly, Chinese websites focus on museum exhibitions while those of U.S. stress on other knowledge, and there are also different features of science on websites. All these are meaningful to the exploitation of science communication content on websites of science museums in our country.
