Web2.0 has made a brand-new style of science popularization-participatory science popularization which focus on creating and sharing. According to recent studies on internet science popularization, this paper comes up with the concept of participatory science popularization, including its definition, connotation, characteristics as well as its impact upon traditional science popularization, science popularization workers and the public.
