The organizational power of societies, associations, and research societies is directly related to the strategic planning goals of the China Association for Science and Technology. The concept of the organizational power is defined, and its constituent elements are identified in terms of introversion and extroversion according to the connotation of the organizational power, and at the same time the evidence-based research methods are adopted to analyze the six societies that are fighting the COVID-19 to collect evidence to verify whether the proposed constituent elements of the organizational power can be supported by the evidence. The research results show that the organizational power of societies, associations and research societies is composed of the knowledge guidance, the value realization of introversion, innovation and development, the service mobilization of extroversion, and the dual nature of the implementation supervision, the leadership standards, the cohesion and the collaboration, and the resource allocation. So the theoretical support is provided for the subsequent in-depth study of the cause and the effect of the organization of societies, associations and research societies.
