The international non-governmental exchanges in science and technology is an important task of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), an important support for the national innovation strategy and an integral part of the country's diplomacy. Over the past five years, the CAST has improved its strategic layout for the scientific and technological exchanges with other countries. Due to the complex international situation and the outbreak of the COVID-19, the CAST has been working hard to broaden its foreign exchange work. On this basis, the CAST actively set up cooperation platforms and made full use of international scientific and technological resources to serve the country's innovation-driven development and opening up activities. This paper reviews the international non-governmental scientific and technological exchanges since the 9th National Congress of CAST, based on the relevant materials in recent years.
