In view of preparing for war, this paper puts forward methods of selecting and classifying important economic targets; analyzes the significance and the requirements of protecting these important economic targets in the information war; clarifies the types of the weapons to be used according to the national conditions; and expounds the overall philosophy, the system structure and the implementation path of the protection, to provide a theoretical support for the research and the construction of the economic target protection system.
