To study the affection of the H1N1 influenza virus activity by extract of Radix Isatidis herbs, Radix Isatidis granula and Radix Isatidis herbs active component. The chicken embryo was used for assaying the antiviral activities of Radix isatidis herbs and granula extracts as well as Radix isatidis herbs active component, by prevention, treatment, and virus neutralization. Radix isatidis herbs and granula extract had good inhibition on influenza virus activity. Radix isatidis herbs extract has the effect of prevention and neutralize against influenza virus; Radix isatidis granula extract and Radix isatidis herbs active component has the effect of neutralizing against influenza virus.
