Taking 25 Japanese natural science Nobel Prize winners as research samples, SPSS 27.0 mathematical statistics software was used to make a quantitative analysis of the time distribution and institutional distribution characteristics of this group. Meanwhile, case studies of Nakamura Shuji and other Japanese natural science Nobel Prize winners were introduced. Based on the important views and statements of Academician Hao Bolin and other Chinese scientists on the development of science and technology, this paper makes an in−depth interpretation and reflection on the statistical results, and puts forward suggestions on establishing a long−term scientific research evaluation system, cultivating innovative scientific research talents, mobilizing the enthusiasm of enterprises for basic research and creating a good scientific research environment.
