Outline
Since the 9th National Congress of the CAST, the science popularization of China has developed steadily, and great achievements have been made in the construction of the citizens' scientific literacy, the national science popularization capacity and the science popularization ecology. The wing of the science popularization in China's innovation and development becomes more powerful. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, China should strive to build a high-quality science popularization system, make full play of the science popularization in both political and value-leading roles, with good scientific and cultural qualities to realize the all-round development of people, and to help building a world science center and the innovation highland, as well as constructing a New Development Pattern.
