Building a new opening-up frontier in Northeast China is a major strategic goal for China on the road of reform and opening-up. For that goal, it is necessary to understand better the national strategy of opening up in Northeast China, to promote the strategic coordination between opening up and regional revitalization, to deepen the economic and trade cooperation in Northeast Asia as a breakthrough point, and to strengthen the platform function of the Free Trade Pilot Zone.
