With continuous promotion of construction of "healthy China", healthy city is receiving more and more attention, and the relevant research continues to deepen. Based on the literature, important research reports and conferences at home and abroad in 2019, this paper divides the research on healthy city into three categories:theoretical research on healthy city planning, research on the impact of building environment on public health, and research on the evaluation index system of healthy city, and a review of hotspots in research and practice is presented. At the same time, it analyzes the practical results of healthy city planning. At last, the paper points out that the research and practice of healthy city should closely combine with each other, pay attention to basic empirical research, realize evidence-based practice, and establish collaborative innovation mechanism, so as to promote the development of healthy cities in China.
