This article provides an overview of oral mucositis,summarizes the clinical characteristics of chemotherapy-related oral mucositis in patients with hematologic malignancies,discusses the mechanism of action of cryotherapy on oral mucositis,and reviews the current status of cryotherapy for chemotherapy-induced oral mucositis in patients with hematologic malignancies.Optimizations suggestions for clinical application are also proposed,so as to provide a reference for nursing practice.
