This paper reviewed the clinical application of ginger extract,external treatment methods,and dietary intervention in neuroprotection during the acute phase of stroke,functional recovery during the rehabilitation period, and management of complications.It focused on analyzing the molecular mechanisms by which components such as 6-gingerol and curcumin to improve cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and to promote neural plasticity remodeling through anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anticoagulant,and neurotrophic pathways.Combining modern nursing practice,it explored the innovative application models of ginger-derived therapies in stroke nursing,including traditional Chinese nursing techniques such as abdominal heat application and acupoint patch application.It provided theoretical basis for the construction of a combined Chinese and western medicine stroke nursing system.
