Laser surface acoustic wave technology is an emerging non-destructive testing method that exhibits unique advantages in surface damage assessment during material processing. This article focuses on the application of this technology in the quantitative characterization of surface cracks, roughness, and thermal damage. High sensitivity and strong quantification ability for damage detection have been achieved through laser excitation of surface waves and analysis of their propagation characteristics. Optimizing the incentive reception scheme and signal processing algorithm can further improve detection performance. Experimental studies have shown that there is a deterministic correlation between the time-frequency domain characteristic parameters of surface waves and the damage dimension, laying the foundation for engineering applications.

Objective To analyze the microbial detection results of drinking water in a certain area. Methods 77 water samples submitted for inspection in 2022 (including 60 for agricultural drinking water and 17 for urban drinking water) and 88 water samples submitted for inspection in 2023 (including 74 for agricultural drinking water and 14 for urban drinking water) were studied. The total number of bacterial colonies, total coliforms and thermostable coliforms were detected according to the Standard Inspection Method for Drinking water. Compare the relevant differences. Results (1) The qualified rate of microbial indexes in 2022 and 2023 was 73.94%; In 2022, 77 water samples were collected, and the total number of bacteria, total coliform, heat-resistant coliform and three comprehensive passrates were 62.34%, 58.44%, 58.44%, 58.44%, respectively. The total number of bacteria, total coliform, thermostable coliform and the comprehensive pass rates of 88 water samples in 2023 were 87.50%, 87.50%, 88.63% and 87.50%, respectively. The total qualified rate of agricultural drinking water in 2022 and 2023 is 56.67% and 60.81%. The total qualified rate of urban drinking water in 2022 and 2023 is 94.12% and 92.86%; In 2022 and 2023, the total number of bacteria, total coliform, heat-resistant coliform and three total pass rates of agricultural drinking water and urban drinking water were compared, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion According to the results of sampling inspection, the qualified rate of urban drinking water is still not 100%, the qualified rateof rural drinking water is lower than that of urban drinking water, there are serious water pollution problems, relevant departments should strengthen the supervision of water quality in the future, and actively improve the disinfection work.

Objective The article studies the determination of ${\mathrm{{COD}}}_{\mathrm{{Mn}}}$ and ${\mathrm{{COD}}}_{\mathrm{{Cr}}}$ inwater using microwave digestion spectrophotometry. Methods Explore thisdetection method from multiple perspectives such as detection limit, precision, accuracy, linear range, analysis speed, and testing cost, andcompare it with traditional national standard methods. Results Theexperimental results show that the detection results of this method aresimilar to those of the national standard method, with a high recoveryrate of sample spiking, a lower detection limit, and a lower relativestandard deviation. Conclusion It can be seen that the method is easy and fast to operate, with good detection accuracy, high precision, wide detection range, and reduces time and material costs, reducing secondary pollution. It is suitable for the detection of different types of water bodies such as surface water, groundwater, and sewage.

Objective To analyze the reasons for the appearance of special-shaped oil drop image in spot method, broaden the applicability of the spot method, and improve detection efficiency. Methods Ten typical samples with different combinations of facet, cabochon, polished, and frosted were tested by a gem refractometer. The study focused on abnormal oil drop images whichhas no clear boundary between light and dark areas but variations in light and dark areas, as well as the cases that the abnormal oil droplet image did not show changes in light and dark areas but only a small bright spot moving along with the oil droplet image. Results It was indicated that even when abnormal oil droplet images are observed in Spot method, reliable refractive index values of gemstones can still be rapidly obtained. Conclusion This study broadens the applicability of Spot method to obtain refractive index for faceted, fine frosted gemstone, and the determination of refractive indices beyond the range of the refractometer in three specific scenarios.

Objective The microbial contamination status of Sanpao Tai series products circulating in the market from 2019 to 2021 was investigated. Methods According to the national food safety standards (food microbiology inspection), the inspection and detection work was carried out from the total number of Colonies, Coliform, Mold, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella, and the relevant enterprise standards were collected and analyzed for the results. Results Within three years, 257 batches of samples from Sanpaotai were sampled, among which the total number of Bacterial colonies, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella were all qualified batches, while Boliform bacteria and Mold were unqualified, which needed to be paid attention to. Conclusions Mold and its toxins have great harm to human body. In 2021, mold unqualified rate is determined by enterprise standards, and the unqualified rate is decreased. However, considering that some enterprise standards delete mold items and the original value, the situation of mold pollution is still not optimistic.
