Based on the natural endowment and industrial reality of Minqin County, this paper analyzed the current development status and bottleneck issues of the entire Cucumis melo industry chain. It proposed sustainable development paths in terms of variety improvement, green production, deep processing, brand marketing, and connecting with farmers and supporting farmers, providing a reference for the high-quality development of characteristic economic crops in sandy areas.
