Latest ArticlesCombined with the practice of the construction of China Digital Science and Technology Museum, this paper discusses the definition of science popularization on the internet as well as its features, characteristics, progress and some common issues, and then suggests that the construction of science popularization on the internet should strengthen the quality control, originality, information update, the awareness of copyright protection, technological innovation and so on.
As the transmission chain of usual communication mode is too long to form a faster or more effectual feedback, it lacks of the intimacy and achievement of communication, and then makes it difficult to arouse public's interest of learning. The success of the communication mode of Capital Science Lecture owes to its “core power”——live activities with equal communication, and through which the public can tap their own initiative and accept the science during the communication, dialogue and exchange. In the end, this new mode will form a mutually causal relationship: the understanding promotes the acceptance as the acceptance has deepened the understanding to form a good social effect with the peripheral “factors”.
In order to put into practice the preferential tax that the publications for science popularization have enjoyed, identified institution of the publications for science popularization have been practiced initially in China. However, there are still some limitations in the system. The idea of the identified system design, the identified range definition, the identified standards for establishment, the identified subjectivity setting and the identified procedures should be improved.
