The application of narrative medicine in medical practice can improve the mode of doctor-patient relationship, and play an exemplary role in doctor teaching and patient education as a kind of humanistic practice and communication. This paper introduces the concept of narrative medicine, its significance, value judgment and topics of narrative medicine works to help readers understand the practice of narrative medicine and to appreciate and evaluate the works of narrative medicine.
