Video has become an important form of media communication, and popular science communication has also dropped its old-time solemnity through short videos. By selecting typical cases of popular science short videos on Bilibili.com, this paper analyzes the basic features, presentation forms and dissemination effects of popular science short videos, explores the creation features and dissemination laws of the most-viewed popular science short videos, and explains the filling and reconstruction of "knowledge gap" brought by these popular science short videos on Bilibili.com, revealing a new interactive relationship between communicators and receivers.
