He not only engaged in science popularization writing, creating excellent works such as The Autobiography of Bacteria, but also participated in the Preparatory Meeting for the First National Congress of Natural Science Workers and the National Congress of Literature and Art Workers, charting the blueprint for China's science popularization endeavor.
