Science popularization is an important part of a country's innovation system and a fundamental task for achieving innovative development. Scientific and technical professionals are the main creators of science popularization works, shouldering the important responsibility of serving as the"initiators"in science popularization. This paper provides a detailed interpretation of the seven main parts of the Guidelines on Popular Science Creation for Scientific and Technical Professionals, explaining the core concepts and orientation behind each part. It also interprets the formulation logic of the Exemplary Works on Popular Science Creation for Scientific and Technical Professionals, guiding scientific and technical professionals to better understand the reference value of such works.
