With the continuous advancement of astrophotography techniques and the rapid development of the Internet,astrophotography livestreaming has evolved and upgraded through exploration,becoming a popular science communication format among the public. This article reviews the historical development,technological progress,and live broadcast methods of astrophotography livestreaming at home and abroad. Taking the device innovation and broadcast practice of the meteor shower livestreaming of the China National Astronomy magazine team as an example,the article explores the feasibility and practical effects of carrying out astrophotography livestreaming popularization activities in China,and puts forward several prospects for the future development trend of astrophotography livestreaming.
