Science popularization awards play a crucial role in promoting the creation of popular science works. This paper examines the evolution, development,and challenges of popular science creation in forestry and grassland science through the lens of the Liang Xi Science Popularization Awards. Based on the evaluation and recognition of Liang Xi Science Popularization Award-winning works, the paper proposes recommendations for promoting popular science creation in forestry and grassland science,including strengthening the value guidance of works,adapting to the changing demands of the times,and increasing investment in science awards.
