Mathematical popularization serves as a vital means of disseminating mathematical knowledge and cultural insights,helping the public grasp mathematical fundamentals while inspiring a passion for the subject. This,in turn,promotes broader applications and advances in mathematics across various fields. As an outstanding representative in mathematics popularization,Wang Juncen’s works continue to be regarded as classics. In 2022,his renowned series was republished as Fun Mathematics for Children. Employing familiar examples,the series creates an engaging atmosphere,conveying mathematical concepts through concise,dialectically unified storytelling. Mathematical popular science writers can derive numerous insights from Wang’s works,including his extensive and vivid content selection,lively modes of expression,dialectical cohesion of knowledge,and skillful narrative integration.
