The new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics has put forward new requirements for science popularization. Popular science writers in the new era should not only popularize scientific knowledge, but also convey scientific worldview and methodology to the public. Both the scientific knowledge and humanistic awareness are essential to popular science writing. By mastering the basic rules of creative writing, popular science writers can integrate their own scientific and humanistic literacy and knowledge in their creation, so as to improve the quality of popular science works. Writing on the basis of domestic popular science creating and academic studies, writers need to learn from relevant experiences in the field of creative writing, and bring creative writing into the education system of popular science writers, which is helpful to form a new ecology of Chinese popular science writing.
