At present, the sales of children's science books in China continue to grow, and the proportion of original children's popular science books in this category has greatly increased. At the same time, the subjects of original children's popular science books vary from comprehensive encyclopedia to books of specific science discipline, from "grand narrative" to "small narrative". Many popular science works borrow the imaginative wings of literary writings, focus on children's interests, and value the readability, literariness, and narrative techniques of narratives, presenting readable and accessible narratives to children. In addition, the usage of animated 3D and AR images and adaptation of animation characters bring the books with stronger visual impacts and more playfulness.
