Characterized by great experience, the 4D science film can achieve the purpose of "education with fun", which is currently seemed as one of the most popular forms of education in popular science venues. This article takes the creative practice of the "Prehistoric Titans" trilogy of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum as an example, and summarizes some of the rules of 4D science film creation, including relying on scientific research, developing new form of team management, focusing on technological application, and creating with humanistic concerns. Meanwhile, this articles puts forwards some corresponding questions and possible solutions as suggestions, in order to provide references for practitioners to better understand the needs of the audience and fully develop the educational purpose of the 4D science film.
