To analyze the effects of Sihuang Shengji decoction on serum activin A (AC-TA), interleukin-1 α (IL-1α), and platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) after perianal abscess surgery with damp-heat toxicity accumulation.
176 patients with perianal abscess who were treated by surgery in the Fourth People's Hospital of Jinan from December 2022 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into routine group and decoction group, with 88 cases in each group. Conventional group: Received conventional postoperative treatment. Decoction group: On the basis of the control group, Sihuang Shengji Decoction was used for treatment. Evaluate the level of TCM syndrome scores of patients; Calculate the improvement time of symptoms in the two groups; The degree of pain of the patients was evaluated by using the VAS score scale. The anal function of the patients was evaluated using the Wexner scoring scale; Detect the maximum systolic pressure of the anal canal and the resting pressure of the anal canal; Detect the levels of VEGF, TGF-β1, SOD, MDA, AC-TA, IL-1α and PDGF. Compare the clinical effective situation.
After treatment, compared with the conventional group, TCM syndrome score, Wexner score, VAS score, MDA, AC-TA, IL-1 α level were decreased (P < 0.01) ; maximum anal tube systolic pressure, anal resting pressure, VE GF, TGF-β1, SOD, and PDGF levels were increased (P < 0.01) ; improvement time of symptoms in the decoction group was shortened (P <0.01) ; total response rate increased in the decoction group (P < 0.01). The incidence of adverse reactions in the decoction group was higher than that in the conventional group (P > 0.05).
For postoperative patients with perianal abscess caused by damp-heat toxicity accumulation, the treatment with Sihuang Shengji decoction can reduce the level of TCM syndrome score, improve anal function, and regulate the levels of serum AC-TA, IL-1α, and PDGF, with remarkable clinical effects.
