In the paper, the experiences of flushing the hydraulic system on furnace top when overhauling blast furnace of Baotou Steel are summarized based on such characteristics as the great fall of height for hydraulic pipeline and long hydraulic pipeline on blast furnace top. The reasonable flushing scheme is formulated by calculating the component parameters in flushing.
