In this paper, it aims at the problems encountered after the commissioning of pulverized coal injection system for two large blast furnaces in Baotou Steel, such as serious silo deformation of roof scrubber, large consumption of nitrogen injection, frequently worn-out of branch injection pipe and spray gun soft connection. By means of gradually improving the production process, equipment defects and poor ventilation, strengthening the silo, adjusting the pipeline air nozzle, increasing operation methods, improving operation technique and reducing injection air volume to reduce the energy consumption and to solve the problems in production.
