In the paper, it is discussed the production of continuously adding large proportion of coke wet quenching into blast furnace under the background of maintaining coke dry quenching system of 4 150 m3 blast furnace of Baotou Steel and the improper response causes the fluctuation of furnace condition. The changes of furnace condition are analyzed from the functions of coke in blast furnace as well as the furnace condition gradually returns to normal by adjusting the coal blending structure of coke, charging and thermal systems of blast furnace.
