In the pellet production, the amount of bentonite is an important factor affecting the grade of pellet ore, utilization coefficient of blast furnace and coke ratio. Its affecting factors are discussed and the solutions are put forward combining with the production reality that the amount of bentonite leaps in Rare Earth Steel Iron-making Plant, which play an important role in effectively reducing the amount of bentonite in pelletizing, improving the grade and metallurgical properties of pellet ore.
